The space feels at once warm and layered in texture while also maintaining the airiness provided by the light-flooded windows and skylight. Designed to allow the garden outside to transcend into the space and provide the feeling of being outside on a terrace. The color palette of the project was inspired by the verdigris of copper patina and antique terracottas. We utilized the ceiling height in this mansion’s breakfast room to display a collection of wall reliefs and moldings that can be viewed from all angles of the room – an homage to the original exterior wall location. This breakfast room invites your curiosity and transports you away into a cultural oasis that inspires a lovely start to your day.
