Virtual
Discovery
Call
We schedule an initial 15-30 minute phone call to get a sense of what you are looking for in your project and get to know you a bit better! If we are a good fit for your project and you are a good fit for our firm, the next step is our Initial Consultation.
Initial
Consultation
This step is required at the beginning of every project. During this in-person working meeting at your home (or virtual) we will determine the scope of work, the service that works best for you, and set the groundwork for your project.
Project
Kickoff
Once your contract is signed, your project is about to begin! We start by diving into those exciting details: your goals, wants, must haves, preferences, and more. We’ll do a deep review of the Project Investment Estimate and budget, as well as look at your design inspiration boards which help us understand your personal style and aesthetic.
Project
Scheduling
Our design process takes 6-8 weeks from Project Kickoff to the Design Presentation. After the Project Kickoff meeting, when the scope has been finalized, we sit down and outline all of the important milestones and set presentation dates on the calendar. This crucial organizational step helps keep the project organized, on track, and helps us to exceed our client’s expectations.
Design
Concept
This is an exciting part of the process, wherein the initial concepts you discussed with us at the consultation will begin to take shape. We draw on our skills, creativity, and carefully assembled resources to help meet your needs, and solve the challenges and limitations of the space. In this phase we present a preliminary furniture or space plan, color and materiality scheme, and furnishing and fixture intent for approval.
Trade
Day
After conceptual design approval we immediately begin planning our Trade Day! At Trade Day we confirm all of our initial measurements and meet with all of the tradespeople that will be required to complete your project to review the scope of work and begin preparing their quotes. These can include but are not limited to: contractors, electricians, decorative painters, wallcovering installers, carpet installers, and our window treatment workroom.
Design, Development, and
Final Presentation
With feedback in hand from our Design Concept meeting, and all of the information gathered from our Trade Day, we immediately move on to our Design Development phase. We refine and hone our design through the development of 2D plans, elevations, and 3D renderings, while also finalizing all furnishing and finish specifications. At our final Design Presentation we come prepared with every design decision and pricing for your approval.
Project
Management
Project management is the backbone of our bespoke Full-Service Interior Design and Simply Design services. This is where we ask that you sit back, relax, and let us handle all of the details. While you are going about your day to day life, we are busy bringing all the pieces together on your behalf. This is by design and a major part of the value that we bring to your project. For construction – we oversee all aspects of the construction process to make sure all of our bespoke details are achieved to perfection. For furnishings – We handle all the purchasing and procurement of your furnishings and fixtures, fabrication and production of your custom items, as well as receiving of furnishings and all of the quality checks involved.
Instillation, Styling and
The Big Reveal
While we pamper you with some planned time away from home we handle the white glove delivery of all of your furnishings and fixtures from our receiving warehouse and oversee the installation of custom items such as rugs, runners, window coverings, and art hanging. We then style the space for that magazine-worthy look, and then present to you your big WOW reveal moment.
